I have TPG FTTB Plan and the internet connection has been down since 3:40pm today. I have reset my modem and gfast, but no change. Disappointing that I cannot see any notices about internet being down yet. Can support team advise ASAP?

I currently have the Zyxel gfast NTU hooked into the supplied TP-Link VR1600v v2 modem via the WAN port and WiFi is only hitting 5-50mbps down and 5-50mbps up, nowhere near the average speeds as indicated. I have already tried resetting and changing the wireless channel from auto to a channel with less competition, but only getting about 20 down from 5 metres away. Also, I'm not getting any 5ghz signal after the upgrade from NBN FTTB 100 to TPG fibre FTTB 250 (not that it ever worked anyway). The VR1600v is starting to yellow and is running hot, so it could be old hardware, but not sure if I can use. BYO modem as on this page (https://support.tpg.com.au/tpg-broadband-settings) it mentions that "BYO modems aren't supported with TPG Fibre. You'll need to use your TPG modem." Could someone reach out to help?

Thanks @david64 for the response. I called TPG support again (been over 24 hours since last time I contacted support) and they put me straight to the 'escalated technical team' who finally helped to resolve the issue. If anyone wants to save themselves 4 hours of phone waiting time across 3 days, follow the steps David mentions, except you may need to remove any PPPoE profiles that are already added by default, refresh, then add a new PPPoE proifle and (for me) I had to keep the VLAN option as Disabled This issue is now resolve, next I need to upgrade from the old archer modem (it's yellowing and running hot). But that's separate to this.

Today the technician came & did setup. Got new Zyxel GFast GM4100-B0 bridge modemand connecting to ArcherVR1600v, the same one I was using for 100mbps FTTB plan. Support advised I can still use the same Archer modem for the new plan. When I connect phone cable to gfast bridge modem, the two lights are solid. When phone cable is plugged into dsl on Archer I get nothing. I have an ethernet connected to LAN port 1 on the gfast directly to the WAN port of the Archer (the WAN light is solid on the Archer) I have reset Archer & rebooted the gfast. Have been on the phone with support to try and set new EWAN username and password, with no help. I need access to the internet for work, could someone look at this urgently.

Hi, I tried to PM some mods but I was unable to so I am posting this request. I need an email of my monthly data usage for the last 12 months if possible, it is not available in My Account and I understand that this can only be provided by a TPG CS or community mod. Can someone please PM or email me the usage details. Thanks
