Just posting an update to this (already great) post. I also had a similar issue (not with TPG, but Southern Phone) connecting to NBN FTTC with the EdgeRouterX - some websites would load - others would not. After fiddling with various MTU settings, the problem was resolved with a very simple change.   The trick was: MSS clamping was not enabled.   Turning this on, instantly got all the problematic websites to load. Normally, if you follow the EdgeRouterX initial setup wizards, it enables this for PPPoE connections. But since we're switching from an earlier wizard (that didn't do this), it needs to be explicitly enabled.   It's very easy to do: Go to Wizards tab Run the TCP MSS clamping wizard Enable for PPPoE interface Give it a value. The default value will work, but you should be able to bump it up to 1452 (assuming you're MTU is 1492) Hit Apply Also (like others) - just joined to add to this super-helpful thread 🙂.
