Hi @maxmorson
Welcome to the community!
We are able to locate your account using your community details. We ran an initial test on your service, it shows getting no connection on our Network.
We'd like to confirm if the modem/router is currently on. Devices connected by Wi-Fi may experience slower speeds than those connected by Ethernet cable, have you tried running a speed test (www.speedtest.net) using a desktop/laptop connected via LAN/Ethernet cable?
Feel free to post the speed test result on this thread. We'll wait for your response
Cheers!
Thank you for the response @Anonymous
Sorry I didn't have it plugged in, seemed kinda pointless seeing given the speeds.
I've connected my laptop via ethernet cable and ran another speedtest.

Still pretty terrible in my view. If you can help, brilliant. If this is the best TPG can offer me I will be cancelling my subscription.
Cheers

Hi @maxmorson.
Thanks for the additional details.
The ADSL2+ connection speed is based on the copper line distance going to the exchange. Based on our records your connection distance to the exchange is 4314m. (This can be seen by visiting this link http://tpg.com.au/maps/).
The fastest speed you can get in your location is in between 1-1.2MBPS.
Getting 1.8-1.2Mbps on your download speed is considered a passing speed.
We check your location to see if TPG-NBN is available to get a faster connection speed unfortunately it is not yet available.
We are sad to know that you're considering cancelling your service due to the speed limitation of your ADSL2+ service. We will escalate this to one of our Specialist for further handling. Let us know your best contact number and preferred time.
Cheers!
