Activating international roaming to only receive and send SMS messages

QUESTION: When activating international roaming and only want to receive SMS messages, in the settings option, do I deactivate the Voice Mail AND the Mobile Data?

Welcome to TPG Community! 

You can temporarily disable (by toggling the switch button) the mobile data and voice mail if you will not use those features while overseas. Ensure that you will enable it upon return to Australia.

Thank you for the reply. When both mobile data and voice mail are disabled, can I still receive and send SMS messages ??

Hi Phillip, 

If your outgoing and incoming SMS are enabled, you'll definitely receive and send messages.
