Moving House

Afternoon! I called TPG today to move my NBN connection into my new flat. I have a text message on my phone shortly after the call saying "My NBN is waiting for installation, just connect your modem." I have done that but I cannot seem to access my internet. Have I done something incorrectly or has my usage period not begun yet?
