NBN Cancel Plan

Hi, I'd like to switch provider and need to cancel my current plan. Does the cancellation request form also delete my accounts?

I only want to end my subscription payment for NBN. My current billing period ends on the 15th, so I want to get it sorted before then.

Also, does cancelling early immediately remove internet access or is that cut off on the last day of my billing period?
