Get online support

ADSL2 slow speeds, ping spikes & dropouts

Over the past month we've been experiencing pretty poor service. Speeds would be inconsistent, sometimes slowing to the point a single 480p YouTube stream would buffer. Ping has been flaky while gaming, speeds are usually under 500kB/s with the odd dropout to boot. Did send an email last night using the support page but have not received a response.

Normally we'd be receiving just under 1MB/s downloads with online speed tests reporting 10Mbps using an ASUS DSL-AC68U with 1 phone connected. As of this week have removed everything and switched to a Netgear D7000 for testing while isolated. Problem remains.

Not too bad tonight with speeds hovering around 700kB/s and pinging TPG website is at least consistent.

Hoping someone can look into it for me please?

Thank you, it seems my email has filtered TPG tech support to spam. The line seems to be stable the past two nights but still significantly slower than expected so will be in touch with them to sort out the issue.
