Some may know that Albion online is releasing in the East very soon, and will host their servers in Singapore.
Whilst the ingame servers are not live, they are Ping-able from the game client.
Currently, I'm seeing pings of around 250ms, which is over 100ms more than friends who are around 100ms to the same servers. They use different ISPs.
(Albion East is the interested server)
Using a UDP Trace Route (via the hping3 tool)(ICMP is blocked):

There's quite a few jumps, and some serious delays even before the connection leaves Brisbane (where I'm based).
Just to check, I ran a generic speed test to Singapore and met similar results:
As you can see, the ping is pretty bad for being so geographically close by...
Could the routes here be optimised ASAP to bring TPG's service inline with the competition?
