Changing from Telstra NBN to TPG

Hello,

 I just recently registered for the NBN Superfast Contract but am currently still with Telstra. I am wondering if I have to manually cancel my Telstra Internet plan or will TPG automatically cancel my current Internet plan once my new TPG plan comes in?

The account holder is the one that will request to cancel the account directly with their provider.
