Chromecast with Google TV not connecting?

Hello,

My new Chromecast with Google TV cannot connect to my 2.4GHz network and does not even find the 5GHz network. I have completed all the Google trouble shooting advice exchanged it at the store for a second one and the exact same issue is occuring so do believe it is the router. I have reset the router and it made no difference. 

Whilst not pressng my Nintendo Switch does not see the 5GHz network although does connect to the 2.4GHz network, I wonder if this is related? Both the Chromecast and Switch can see other 5GHz networks from neighbours.

I'm on NBN and the router details are:

Firmware Version:0.1.0 0.9.1 v5006.0 Build 200810 Rel.53181n

Hardware Version Archer VR1600v v2 00000000
