Downstream light blinking on Arris modem - No outage detected

No internet connection for hours while Arris modem downstream light has been flashing. I tried multiple restarts and still no connection. The NBN network status and outage site states there isn't an outage in my area.

 

Please help as I believe there may be a fault at my residence? Thanks.

Update: connection issue has been resolved after around 6-7 hours, shortly after making this post.
