The connection drop outs every minutes.

Restart NBN modem and router again and again but nothing imoroved.

Hi @derekroh,

 

There are different types of dropouts that you may experience:

 

1. Network dropouts, this dropout is caused by a line fault on TPG or NBN's network. Affecting all device(s) LAN/Wireless connected to the modem/router this may require a real-time test and investigation by our Technicians and Engineers.

 

2. Wireless dropouts, this issue only affects the device(s) connected via Wi-Fi which can easily be fix by doing adjustment to the modem/router's settings.

 

3. Dropouts caused by ongoing outage in your area. 

 

In the event that you experience dropouts via Wireless/Wi-Fi connection, we recommend having a read on the following articles:

Thank you for your reply.

 

1. THIS DROPOUTS is happening everyday since Dec 2021.

Technicians came home 3 times and checked the whole line in my house.

I'm having internet dropouts tens of times everyday and everytime I called TPG technician support centre.

And still I'm experiencing dropouts every ten minutes.

 

2. I'm using ethernet cable directly from TPG provided TP-link Archer VR1600v modem router to my PC.

It's not about wireless thing.

 

3. I checked the outage status on TPG and NBN service status website and there is no ongoing outage in my area.

Look for another provider, you will not get your issue sorted with this company.
