Extermely Slow Upload speeds

Hi there,

We're experiencing very slow broadband speeds in Preston, Vic, 3072.

The download speed is only 5.8mbps then on a second test 6.5mbps.

The upload speed is only 0.8mbps then on a second test 0.9mbps.

I will be hosting an internet radio show soon, which requires streaming of video and audio. the minimum upload speed is 3mbps, but it should preferably be 5+mbps.

What needs to be done to get the upload speed much higher?

Welcome to TPG Community!

We were able to pull up your account using your Community details and learned that you are on our ADSL2+ service. The upload speed of the ADSL2+ service is up to 1Mbps only. If you require more upload speed, then NBN service is what you needed. However, we checked your address and learned that the said technology is not yet available since it's still being upgraded by NBN Co.

You may visit their address checker from time to time for more updates on when it is going to be available for you.
