@Anonymous . TPG should check that the connection is NBN25, not NBN12.
@Neo78 . You can do some local speed checks.
Ping the local ip address of your router, eg. ping -n 20 192.168.1.1
Response times should be around 1 ms.
Ping TPG server, ping -n 20 www.tpg.com.au
Response times should be several ms.
