HI,
I have been having frequent drop outs ( Carrier signal lost) for about 5 months now, but particularly bad today. Dropped 4 times in last 2 hours. Really great when gaming.
I had my service down for 24 hours a few days back (logged a call at that time...it magically fixed itself later before a TPG tech showed up)
I have logged 3 tickets before and still not gotten this solved.
This is with 3 different modems (TPG Supplied Joke, sorry, modem; and 2 others with VDSL2 capability), 3 different rj11 and 12 cables.
This all adds up to a network issue. I have a stability profile applied but this has only slowed me down, not made my connection any more stable. Please advise, or advise if I can get out of my contract with no fees

Changed back to Huawei modem...dropped another 2 time in last few hours. At least 8 drops I've seen today.

Will have to contact ombudsmen. I highly regret moving to TPG NBN from my 4g plan I was on with Optus. It was slower but stable...and is 4g. Since when is 4g so muc h better than nbn?

A trouble ticket was raised in the evening of 30/12 to TPG Technical Escalations team by one of our technicians who received the initial report.
NBN has made adjustments on their end. If you are still experiencing drop outs then I will notify the engineer in charge of your case. I will ask that they contact you directly as soon as they have further updates.

An SMS update regarding the technician visit booked for 03/Jan/2018 between 10AM -2PM has been sent instead. If you wish to cancel or reschedule the appointment, you may reply to the SMS.

OK ticket closed today after appearing to be 'better'for a few hours. However today I see this on the modem logs when I get home showing 4 dropouts since 1pm( Plus another 2 prior in the day) . 1:30pm, 3:08pm,3:45pm, 4.08pm. It really seems no better. Please reopen ticket. Texted reply to TPG to advise same

Before it drops the carrier signal, it starts to slow down, ping gets longer, lags alot. Can tell when it's about to drop. This must be infrastructure error, not a so called corroded rj12/dsl socket. I have the original socket that was supposedly at fault. Pic attached. While not new, looks fine to me. Also the fact that replacing it hasn't helped at all makes me think it is something else.
I'm trying hard not to lose it....
