We have urgently requested TPG Tech Support to update the default reverse DNS PTR for the static IP address of our small business NBN connection to match our mail server hostname, as we are experiencing unacceptable email bounce-backs.
Despite neither of the two L1 techs understanding anything about Rev DNS, they said a request to do this was sent to TPG's email specialists to action.
That was four days ago. How long should we expect this update to take to complete?

I got this resolved by emailing my request to dna@tpgtelecom.com.au.
whatismyip.com can resolve their ip address to their mail server hostname.
What error codes do you get with bouncebacks? There might be other things required in mail setup.
