I am on NBN50 but has slow upload speed

Hi

I am on NBN50 which I upgraded from NBN10. I was expecting a big improvement relative to my previous plan but I am still experiencing slow internet speed. My download speed does range from 20 to 40Mbps, which I assuming depending on the time of day but my upload speed is less than 1Mbps. How do I fix this?
