I changed my internet plan from NBN to 5G broad band. Shoud I call to TPG customer service to cancle my old plan?

I always had a problem using the 50nbn plan. The Internet stopped, cut off, repaired, and this really stressed me out. Today , the Internet suddenly stopped again, I applied for a 5g broadcast band plan.
I received an email saying that I will receive a new modem soon. But I didn't hear anything about my old nbn plan. Does this automatically change to a new plan?(for internet fee) Or do I have to call to customer service to cancel it myself? By signing up for the new plan, one more ID used on TPG sites was created.

Please let me know what should I do
