Is this the correct account for PPPoE?

Hello, I will be receiving a new router from TPG. I believe it is a TP-LINK C1200

I may need to use this https://community.tpg.com.au/t5/Modems-and-Devices/How-to-set-up-TP-LINK-C1200-modem-for-Windows-10/... to help set up my router.

In that post it says to select PPPoE and type in my TPG username and password.

Is this the same account that is used for account management e.g. Check You Account Usage, Your Account Statement, changing plans etc? or is there a different account that I have to use.

Thanks.

Hi @zh . It is the username for My Account and Post Office.  In the router config, add @tpg.com.au to your username.

When it is all connected, the router should load config from TPG, although you can still try it yourself.

If you have come from ADSL, your Windows setup should be ok.

Thanks for the reply David. I am still a little confused so is the account I am referring to the correct account or not?

@zh . When you say "Is this the same account that is used for account management e.g. Check You Account Usage, etc", you are correct.
