I currently have a 100/40 plan with home phone with a fixed IP which I had for many years, I have been paying $110 a month and learned recently that a long time ago the same plan was being resold for $79, surprised TPG never reduced my bills. Anyhow, now I see Gigabit down and 40 up for $4 more then I am paying now, again surprised I was not offered this plan.
I would like someone to compare the details of my current plan and the gigabit plan since mine no longer shows any more. I have a fairly new TPG Router, and my NBN HFC Modem was recently replaced cause it was faulty.
Will my current router still work or do I need to pay some $140 for another one if I upgrade to the gigabit plan
Current Router is: Hardware Version:VX420-G2v v1 00000001
And if I do change plans how much down time will there be.
PS: Also finding this community section now is hard since it appears all linked to it have been removed from the TPG website.
