Moving into a new place that already has internet connection

Hi guys

I'm going to be moving into shared rental accommodation soon.

There is already internet set up at the new place, and the rent is apparently going to cover the bills (including internet).

So I need to cancel internet at my current place. 

However, there are still 10 months remaining in the contract, so I guess I will be hit with a big cancellation fee.

Also, I incurred the $300 new development fee, and I'm still paying that off as I've been paying monthly installments of $25.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
