Is there a timeframe expectation of when something like that can be fixed?

Where I am has had that status for at least 2 weeks and it causes constant connection drop outs.

The outages or service status should indicate the estimate time frame of the restoration. 

If the service is no longer listed, we can perform normal troubleshooting and check the network, you may send us your details to proceed.
