I have a new internet account. I believe it is NBN to the suburb but still ADSL from a central point to the house. I have not received the TPG WiFi Modem as yet but have an older one that was used at another house in the same suburb with NBN. It has been plugged in and set up as per the instructions. I am not able to get any internet. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Does your third party modem/router works with NBN FTTN technology before? If yes, then you need to configure it with your TPG account username and password. Check this link.
