Our newly installed HFC connection have been expericing frequency drop outs, few times a day, each time between 10 minutes to 1 hour. We started having this issue 1 month ago on our 3 month old service. Rebooting modem and router doesn't help and the drop outs times have been very random. We have basically experienced drop outs on all hours of the day, which is impossible to work around.
