No internet light on modem since signing up

We have had no internet now since signing up to TPG almost 2 weeks ago, and have been paying for a service we cannot use. All green lights solid on NBN box, just no internet light on modem supplied by TPG. Have called multiple times and spoken to the engineering team for the last week who continue to advise that the NBN co is still working on the issue. What the issue is nobody has been able to tell us. Extremely frustrating
