Old phone won't connect to network - needs 2.4Ghz channel

Could you please explain how to make this channel available?  Our internet connection is fantastic and works with all other home devices.  My son can't make use of the internet on his phone because the 2.4Ghz channel has disappeared.  This also has stuffed my smart powerpoints and ps4 wireless connection.  Thanks

Hi @cherlyn . If you have an Archer C1200 or VR1600 router, is the 2.4G light on?

If not, login to router and check that if it is enabled or not.
