I moved to the NBN and was sad to see my static IP go. Is there an alternative to reliable remote access to my home network?
The vendor of my router provides a DNS service <username>.asuscomm.com. I'm hoping that TPG offers a similar free static address for accessing my home network.
We currently do not offer DDNS service, @sprocers.
You have the option to use third party ones or as discussed above, you can get a static IP through our NBN business plans.
Hi @sprocers,
Welcome to TPG Community!
We apologise for the inconvenience this has caused you and we understand the need of using Static IP. However, please be advised that all our NBN residential plans come with a dynamic IP address.
Nonetheless, you may consider our NBN Business Plans: http://tpg.com.au/nbn-business should you wish to get a Static IP.
Let us know should you have further queries. Thank you.
Thanks Riezl,
Does TPG offer any workarounds, such as the DDNS service provided by the vendor of our router?
