SMS on landline phone

Are there any landline telephone handsets you can connect to NBN (FTTP) Box that allow you to send and revive text messages? I have just connected with TPG NBN but do not yet have a telephone handset and wanted to know before purchasing one whether this is possible (i believe Telstra offer such a handset but not sure whether this would work with TPG).

The TPG NBN VoIP home phone doesn't support the SMS feature.

It can only cater phone calls. You may check more information on our website and look for 'Important things you need to know' then go to 'Call Rates'.
