Sales team not interested in retaining customers

I feel somewhat disappointmed in the service received from TPG sales department today.  I rang to see if they could do anything to match offers competitors are offering.
After confirming my details I told them about an offer a competitor was offering and the response was that I could switch to 5G as an alternative.  I did inform the sales person that having a phone at home for incoming calls was important and yet they continued and continued to try and get me to sign up to 5G.  It ended up in me needing to be very blunt and saying 'I am not interested in 5G as it does not suit my needs and even if it was $1 I would not sign up for it"  I again asked about normal nbn plans and if they would match the competitor, if they couldn't I would have no option but to change to the competitor.
It is somewhat disapppointing that the response was no and if that was the case good bye and proceeded to end the call.
TPG need to consider there plans and what the market is doing at the moment as almost every other retail is offering an intro price cheaper than TPG.

Hi @scgnkm77,

Let us help and see what we can do about this. To better understand the situation, could you shoot us a PM with your details so we can coordinate this with our Account Specialists Team.

How to send a PM?

Regards,
