Slow broadband internet

My internet is running really slow lately. A week ago my average internet speed was around 3-4 mbps. I thought maybe it’s the old router so I bought belkin n600 and it brought my speed up to 6 mbps. Does anyone know what average tpg broadband speed is? I was with Optus a while ago and I never had trouble. Should I go back?

If you're on an ADSL connection, the speed will be dependent on your distance from your local exchange. If you can PM us with your Customer ID or username, we can run remote tests and check the status of your connection.
