Slow internet in the evenings

Hi

We’ve been having slow internet in the evenings for the last week. Typically slows down by around 7pm and comes good again after 10:30pm

No issues during the day

All devices are on wifi. We don’t own a device that has Ethernet port

We’ve restarted the modem when the slowness hits and no difference

We’ve gone to your slow speed website and followed instructions. The slowest speed test results are around 1.1Mbps and whereas after 11pm it’s up around 45Mbps

Can you please investigate

Before attempting the troubleshooting steps, we recommend that you do the following below.

  1.     Check our Service Status at https://www.tpg.com.au/servicestatus
  2.      "Power cycle" your FTTB modem. This means turning your modem off and waiting for one minute before turning it back on again. This allows your modem to reestablish connection to our server.

If you are still unable to connect to the Internet, you can proceed with the troubleshooting steps indicated on this link: https://www.tpg.com.au/support/problems_connect_internet_fttb_bundle.php.

In this case, we've seen that this issue has been escalated to our Engineering Team for further investigation. Further updates will be provided by one of our Engineers via SMS or Phone call when it becomes available.
