Slow upload speed

I'm on the 50/20 HFC plan. I used to get min 47Mb (35Mb on 2.4Ghz) download and 18.9Mb upload speed 

In the last few day my "upload" speed has gone down from close to 20Mb down to 0.7Mb.  

I also tested manual configuring the router download/upload speeds as suggested in one thread but still getting same slow upload speeds.   

I am hoping I am not asked to reset my modem as I am not seeing any option to back up all my configuration settings.  I am reading on the net and other tpg threads that you can reset tthe upload configured speeds on my router 

Pls advise.
