This is entirely moot now as fas as I'm concerned, since tpg obviously wont be suitable for me, and as national clusterf##k network has only just gone live here, I have 15-ish months to migrate, I know where I am moving to, decisions made, it will also be cheaper for me, only by a few dollars which I was happy enough to give tpg if they met my requirements since theyve always done good by me and suited me, that remains current until I migrate when tpg no longer will suite me, and as the new SP gives me static IP and supports aussie jobs not outsourcing to cheap labour Asian countries, thats important to me.

As clearly tpg meets your requirements, thats all good for you, doesnt mean it is for everybody.

various companies I worked for purchased hardware from them, hardly a

True, if a static IP is required, then TPG residential is not suitable,
