Static IP on FTTN Residential

aus what?  not likely

ahhh so you admit a relationship, that says all we need to know.

security policy forbids VPN's so cisco ACL is only way we get in a/h if we need to.

This is entirely moot now as fas as I'm concerned, since tpg obviously wont be suitable for me, and as national clusterf##k network has only just gone live here, I have 15-ish months to migrate, I know where I am moving to, decisions made, it will also be cheaper for me, only by a few dollars which I was happy enough to give tpg if they met my requirements since theyve always done good by me and suited me, that remains current until I migrate when tpg no longer will suite me, and as the new SP gives me static IP and supports aussie jobs Smiley Wink not outsourcing to cheap labour Asian countries, thats important to me.

As clearly tpg meets your requirements, thats all good for you, doesnt mean it is for everybody.

Ah, so you don't know what that means.

Yes, they purchased software from various companies I worked for,
various companies I worked for purchased hardware from them, hardly a
relationship!

Oh, the old, "We're so secure no one can do their jobs," methodology,
tends to be done by lusers bereft of clue. Done my time in hell! (And
written software to accept messages via other mechanisms and re-configure
things on the fly.)

Good for you.
Stop spreading FUD, then. Or are you already shilling for your new RSP??

True, if a static IP is required, then TPG residential is not suitable,
even Blind Freddy knows that.

you clearly have no idea what fud means if you think anything in my posts are such, you have only shown yourself to not only be a schill, but a troll whos looking for someone to bite, that wont be me. I have far better things to do with my time.

bye now

nobby - who's used a static ip on his tpg residential service for nearly 10 years.
