For over four years I have been a loyal customer of Optus, however, for several reasons I have decided to opt for TPG now that the NBN has reached my suburb at last. I no longer have a contract with Optus. Do I need to contact Optus, or is that TPG's responsibility?

We've managed to pull up your new account with us using your community details. We are very much excited to provide you our NBN FTTC service!
You will need to keep your service with Optus active until the number porting has been completed on our end. It takes 1-5 working days to complete the porting request.
You will have to cancel your existing service with them after the installation of your new service and request for number porting have been completed. We will not be responsible for any charges that will incur during or after the transfer.
