Error Message - Have been able to receive emails but not send on Iphone / Ipad whilst away and laptop since returning. I have reset password multiple times and waited more than 30 minute as suggested by other posts. Can send via online Post office.
An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: 535 5.7.8 [TPG-A02] Authentication denied. User xxxxx@tpg.com.au is banned from using SMTP AUTH due to previous abuse. Please verify that your email address is correct in your account settings and try again.
I am in France and can receive emails but cannot send them. I receive the following message:- "5.7.8 (TPG-A02) Authentification denied. User xxxxxx@tpg.com.au is banned from using SMPT AUTH due to previous abuse"
This happens to me each year and is infuriating. I note from other users that this is a common problem with TPG.
Can you please advise how to correct this as I am getting prettty sick of it.
Regards,
Ramsay
Hi @adsl5tft
Have you tried changing your email account password?
If not, try it first and retest it.
Are you using an email client or TPG Post Office? If via Email client, could you try sending emails via Post Office if it's going to work?
