Upgrading wireless

I've got an Archer VR1600v modem/router from TPG, but it doesn't support OneMesh.

I am planning on buying an Archer AX10 wireless router (not a modem/router) and using that for wireless while leaving the VR1600 as the modem.

I assume I'll need to turn off the wireless radio in the VR1600, but can I get some advice around how to configure this setup? Also does anyone know if these devices are even compatible in this sort of setup?

Hi @richarddavis . Are you on FTTB/FTTN where the VR1600 provides the RJ11 connection?

If you have a NBN box, you might be able to do away with the VR1600.
