Upload speeds 3x faster than download speed

Hi there, we recently switched to an NBN50 plan and whilst it was nice and fast for the first couple of weeks, it's been progressively slowing down over the last month or so.

I have noted after doing a few speed tests that the upload speeds are almost always performing as expected, and that's now about 3 times faster than current usual download speeds. That's not really very useful. My last test this morning was 5.4 Mbps down and 16 Mbps up. Much better if that was the other way round. Which it was the first couple of weeks. Any thoughts?
Thanks.

Hi @gremlin

Welcome to the Community!

We were able to locate your account using your community details and tested the line, but was not able to detect any fault within the NBN network.

Your modem is getting a good connection speed with 59.49Mbps Downstream and 22.37Mbps Upstream.

We've created an article that will guide you on how to check it. Here's the link.

Please check the troubleshooting that is available on this article as well. (Slow speed issue)

If you are using a WiFi connection, then signal interference may be causing the issue. We have some articles that will guide you on how to improve it.
