Web pages not loading

Hi. Since yesterday morning I cannot access certain websites. 

ie
tpg.com.au doesn't load but community.tpg.com.au loads fine

nbnco.com.au doesn't load but google.com loads fine

TPG service status page showed on the 06/03/2024 that there was maintenance happering in the FOOTSCRAY area, where I am, and it would finish @ 6am. Ever since then the internet hasn't working correctly. Ive tried resetting everything to no evail. Nothing's been touched/changed on my end.

I plug in a 4G modem and all websites mentioned above work on my network. Back to TPG and some sites work and some don't. 

Can you advise if there is still currenty an issue or what could be the problem?

Hi @haychis . For the sites that don't work, do you just get an icon spinning doing nothing?

Or, is there an error message? Can you wait for 3 minutes to see if there is an error message.

If you are using a computer, can you do   nslookup    command for websites not working,

eg.   nslookup tpg.com.au

Do working one for comparison;  nslookup community.tpg.com.au

I get a 'took long to respond' with a ERR_TIMED_OUT

@haychis . I'd like to see what happens if you remove 127.0.0.1 as a name server.

Can you do ping and tracert commands to nbnco.com.au and google.com. See if there is a routing problem.

TPG isn't a good hostname to do this on since you can no longer ping TPG.
