Im now having the same problem having just switched from TOG NBN to 5G wireless. 

 

Anyone know the fix?

Im still having the same problem. My chromecast works with any other wifi if I try, but the new wireless modem.

Are you able to connect to the WiFi network, but won't able to cast?

Yes I have the new device.
The problem remains the same.
I can connect to it but it won’t cast.
I think the two signals interfere or something and it’ll then time out.
