change of plan adsl2 and home phone

I was put on an 18 month plan for adsl2 and home phone bundle.  how much will it cost me to change to a no lock in contract.  ive tried calling but no answer on yourm phones, just on hold after the automated system responds

Normally, if you opted for a no lock-in contract, you need to settle $99.95 for the set up fee. I can have one of our Accounts Specialists to contact you and discuss your options regarding switching to a no lock-in plan.

I have responded to your private message but still awaiting your response.


There are 2 contract terms:

  • 18-month contract + 79.95 set up fee + free modem
  • no lock-in contract + 99.95 set up fee (no free modem)

Since you will be switching to a no lock-in contract, you have to return the modem otherwise you will be charged $99.95 for the modem, plus the $20 difference for the set-up fee.

Furthermore, the modem you currently have will only work for an ADSL service.
