my internet consistently dropping out for past two weeks

why is this happening.  Have had good internet for past many years.  now slow speed and constantly dropping out.

We're sorry to know that you have been experiencing issues with the connection lately. 

 

I did run initial tests on our end and it shows that your modem is currently detecting a sync speed of 11-12Mbps from the line which you can confirm when you log in to your modem's user interface. It appears that the problem is getting the result to show up on your devices. It's possible that the trouble you may be having could be WIFI-related (signal interference, distance, weak signal) if you're using a WIFI connection only. The modem in fact, is connected for 1 week indicating a stable connection from the line to your modem.

 

We would suggest running a speed test on a computer connected via Ethernet for us to narrow down the actual cause of the drop outs.
