Unfortunately, I don't think that this is an account related problem as I have been expriencing this problem for a long time now. I have even been in contact with the TPG Postmaster who responded that there was no problem at the TPG end even though I could get almost instant emails from gmail to gmail and (I think) from tpg to gmail, but delays from gmail to TPG. Even worse, some financially important and time sensitive emails do not even reach me! Todate, no resolution!! I have wondered if the delays and missing emails were related to filtering for scams and such and asked that my emails not be filtered but that was not an available option.

I just noticed that this problem is marked "Solved" and when I click "Go to solution" I don't see any solution? Am I missing something?

@drbob please send us a private message with the sample emails that were delayed or you haven't received. Include the email address of the sender, date, and subject so we can investigate further.

Thanks,

Aubrey

So, from my observations:

1. gmail to gmail is "instanteneous"

2. gmail to tpg is delayed

3. tpg to tpg is delayed

4. tpg to gmail is delayed

Note: I cannot send you examples of un-received emails as I have NOT received them and the sender has been unwilling to send duplicates.

Thank you for those details. Were you able to check from the Post Office if emails were delayed, too?

The problem is that I could login to the email site, and the emails are still not there, so even if the server was out, then why are emails never arriving? The sender address is not getting bounced or failed to send problems so some system from TPG confirmed reception, but then the emails are lost forever?

It seems that the posts are truncating the source text of the emails.

From the time-stamps:

1. at end of file: 11:15:21 +1100 - rpt-cro-asav4.external.tpg.com.au time tpg received the email (10:45:21 CST),

2.                       10:45:17 +10:30 time email created?

3. at top of file: 10:56:28 - time my email client received the email from tpg

                          11:18:24 +1100  - received from rpt-cro-sph01-tpgi.com.au (10:48:24)

So, it looks like two tpg systems are involved which resulted  in a delay of about 3 minutes and another delay of about 6 minutes before the email is  delivered to my email client.

Yes, I have confirmed that the emails are also delayed in the "Post Office".

1. log in to Post Office

2. Use my email client to send and email from gmail to tpg cc gmail

3. Click "Reload page" repeatedly.

4. Just received email from tpg, about 3min after email was received by gmail.
