Approximately 4pm this afternoon, internet dropped out and of course so did the home phone.
Internet eventually returned but home phone is not working.
Green light on modem is not on and just a high pitched noise on the actual phone.
I did a power cycle on the modem and also removed and replaced the phone line on the modem.
Didn't make any difference.
As I can't ring anyone, how can I get this problem checked?

Okay, took an hour but the phone now seems to be working.
