Hello Community, I have just upgraded my NBN S plan to NBN M plan. My home phone balance was about $18.95. Looking at my account, there is now a Current Prepayment Balance of $0.00. Several internet dropouts yesterday 20 Jan, 2 more today (one in the middle of a phone call) and now can't ring out from the home phone. Neither does it ring when calling via mobile phone. Can somebody please report this to tech dept? Thank you. ... View more

Approximately 4pm this afternoon, internet dropped out and of course so did the home phone. Internet eventually returned but home phone is not working. Green light on modem is not on and just a high pitched noise on the actual phone. I did a power cycle on the modem and also removed and replaced the phone line on the modem. Currently at library as internet is impossible to connect at home due to shaping. Is it correct that if your internet is shaped to 32kbps it means you don't have access to TPG internet from your home AT ALL? And the only options are to upgrade to a different plan or pay the monthly fee early before the current billing date which then changes your billing date? And if your internet is shaped, does that also affect the quality of the home phone line (being VOIP) as well (very fuzzy and hard to hear caller)? I will check in coming days for any answers.   ... Second request to have Call Waiting disabled. On 9 July, I asked for Call Waiting to be disabled on my home phone. PeterW published a link for Call Diversion !!!! I tried to disable it on the Control Panel but there is nowhere to change it. Call Waiting should not be auto activated. Please disable the Call Waiting function on the phone line. Also I would like to know why a phonecall will drop out suddenly. I understand this happens if the internet drops out. But when the internet is still working, why does the home home drop out? Good morning, Why does replying to an email sent to my alias e.g. 5678@tpg.com.au always revert to replying from the default account e.g. 1234@tpg.com.au??? Never used to happen with Chariot - only since signing up with TPG. I use Outlook Express (not Outlook). I need to be able to reply to emails sent to both addresses with the correct email address. Is it possible to NOT have a default email address? How does one get some real help for phone/internet problems with TPG? I cannot ring TPG because the phone continually DROPS OUT. Incoming calls drop out or the caller cannot hear me. Live Chat drops out. Internet continually DROPS OUT. I have provided proof with screenshots of drop outs. Rubbish text messages to say issues fixed - tickets closed. Emails to Customer Service are not even acknowledged. Promises to contact me within 24 hours are not followed through. This has been ongoing since 15 April 2020. Check the logs since then. Initially I was advised it was an outage in the area. 13 days later - still an outage???? Latest Text message says: Your internet service should be up and running. If it's still not working then please reboot your modem. For further help call 131423. How can I ring when the phone keeps DROPPING OUT? 4 drop outs that I know of just this morning.
