Home phone cannot call out cannot receive calls

Since about 31/3/22.

 

Something has happened to the phone. Cannot make or receive calls.

Only busy signal on the line.

This is now serious.

I am not the only one having this problem with TPG.

Has been working perfectly for years, but now phone only has busy signal either calling out or calling in.

Can you please confirm your landline number via private message? I'll be needing to assess it to determine as to what is causing the issue.

Hi there, thanks for replying.
 
I have tried your suggestion you sent by PM.
 
Still cannot make or receive calls.
 
I get the dial tone but after calling several numbers that I know are not engaged I just get the busy tone.
 
Similarly trying to ring the number from another phone just gets the busy tone.

Thanks for doing that. I've had this escalated with our Accounts Team as issue keeps on occurring. I'll monitor your case and I'll keep you posted. Apologies for the inconvenience.

I have also previously contacted accounts by another phone after I noticed there was something wrong in recent previous days. They said they have escalated the problem with technical.

 

I have always been paid up and active.

 

I have noticed the phone control panel is now back up and it says "Active".

 

However phone still has the same problem. Cannot make or receive calls.

 

We have done absolutely nothing at our end to cause this.

Our Network Engineers are working on getting the phone issue fixed. There is no estimated time of restoration but I'll definitely send you an update.
