We have been TPG customers for years, with ADSL and phone bundle. We have young kids who are too young for mobiles so have bought a landline so they can contact us/ grandparents etc. New V-tech handset puchased and plugged in but cannot take calls as it says phone line busy. We recommend for customers to check our Service status page if their service is affected by a planned or unplanned outage.
We've also created an article that will guide you on how to troubleshoot a No dial-tone issue for TPG Home phone service.
Upon checking your account, we've found that the number was provisioned incorrectly, which explains the busy line. We've re-provisioned your phone number and the service should start working.
