I submitted an NBN phone number change last week, this went through and I was issued a new phone number.
Now I can't make or receive calls. I have a dial tone and can dial a number, but end up with silence. Callers to the number receive a message saying the number is not connected.
Have tried from Telstra landline and mobile, and Optus mobile to make/receive calls.
Any help appreciated, thank you!
Thanks for raising this to our attention.
We've reviewed what happened and it appears that the new number was not registered to the account even though it was successfully assigned.
We've raised this with our Tech team and manually registered the number.
Your phone service should start working.
