Phone number diversion - router & NBN connection remain on or can be switched off ?

We will be away for some weeks. During that time our TPG VOIP home phone will be diverted to a mobile number.

After diversion is activated will this occur at the TPG Server or is phone diversion dependent on the home NBN connection box and home router remaining switched on ?

If phone diversion is handled at the TPG Server we can turn off the NBN Connection
and Router reducing our electricity draw even further when powering down our house
whilst absent ?

Appeciate advice on this query.

Hi @northb

Your modem and phone doesn't need to be on for the call diversion to work.

To ensure that it's working prior to leaving the house, I suggest that you do a test first. Activate the call diversion by logging in to your online account, wait for 15 minutes before you turn your modem off and make a test call.

Regards,
