Hi @sonic,

 

We're tried to configure your given modem/router information to work with your TPG-FTTB service unfortunately it is not compatible since the modem/router is supplied for TPG-NBN connection.

Thank you for telling your result.

 

I bought second-hand TP-LINK modem/router is TPG-NBN's modem/router and can't use TPG-FTTB's VoIP Service.
If I use TPG-FTTB's VoIP service, I must use the HG659 modem.

Is this correct?

Yes, that right. You must use our supplied Huawei HG659 for the VoIP to work.

With a TP-Link you need to use Phone 2 Port

@Fiery That's not correct, you need to use the Phone 1 port on all supplied modems.

Hello, I as well have the exact same problem as tamaraillsey11 after replacing my Huawei with an Archer VR1600v from TPG.  Can someone from support look into it...Thankyou Smiley Happy

having same issue with the router vr1600v received yesterday. internet connected fine but voip did not work. no instruction. help needed. support online chat non-existent
