TP-Link Archer VR1600v : phone not working

Another 1.5 hours on a call and nothing. I’ve gone and lodged a ticket with the TIO. Tpg ticket # 10353971. TIO reference 2020/03/07640.

Would be great if someone got the phone working and called us back before another day passes.

Wow!!! TPG, you must be aiming for Guinness Book of Records for worse customer service. How bad is your GOS???!!! It’s been 2 hours and 15 minutes and still no one has answered my call.

Welcome to the community!

 

There are several cause of home phone issue.

 

  • Faulty Phone Cable
  • Faulty Handset
  • If you're with ADSL2+, possible Phone Socket Issue
  • If you're with NBN/TPG-FTTB, possible modem/router configuration issue

    (This can be fix by doing hard-reset with the modem/router).

In your case, we've seen that the home phone issue has been escalated to our Engineering Team. Based on the latest update on file home phone issue has been resolved.
